The Indian Opinion, started by Mahatma Gandhi, and Illanga lase Natal, started by John Dube, are thus far the only two newspaper publications that came out of Inanda. However a group of young vibrant residents of Inanda who call themselves Asenze Youth Development Youth Organization have recently changed this.
In 2009 Inanda witnesses the birth of a new publication call The Link Tabloid; this tabloid will be distributed all over the Ink area (Intuzuma, Nanda and Kwa Mushu).
The founders of the tabloid have the vision of empowering the community and promoting the culture of reading within the community. The tabloid is distributed freely on a monthly bases at different taxi ranks and community centres. The tabloid prioritizes local news and it covers general news, politics and entertainment.
